Places to Visit (After Covid)

Rachel Jagust

Updated: Jul 5, 2022

If Covid has taught us anything, it’s that life is short. So, it’s time to start working on that bucket list. Here are my top picks of places to explore post-pandemic.

Paris, France

As dear Audrey told us long ago “Pairs is always a good idea,” and this has never been truer than today. Imagine walking down the Champs-Élysées with arms full of shipping bags that would do Blair Waldroff proud. Or spend your day roaming around the galleries of the Louvre and ending your day with dinner on the Seine while watching the lights sparkle on the Eiffel Tower.

Great Barrier Reef, Australia

You can go snorkeling or scuba-diving to see the wonders of underwater life and it’s the perfect chance to live out those mermaid daydreams you had as a kid. Personally, I will be trying my best to talk to flounder or share with my shark friends that “Fish are friends, not food.”

Portree, Scotland

A beautiful town located on a small island in northern Scotland, Portree has something to offer for everyone. Spend mornings exploring everything the nature of the Isle of Skye has to offer and then the evenings wandering the village of Portree to see all its colorful buildings. I recommend dinner at the Dulse & Brose at The Bosville.

Galápagos Islands, Ecuador

Channel your inner adventurer in the Galápagos! Hike over dried lava beds, see if you can spot a blue-footed boobie, or dive down deep to swim with the sea turtles. But no matter what you do, you’ll be greeted by some of the most amazing views in the world.

Seoraksan National Park, Gangwon Province, South Korea

If you need some nature, there no place to take a deep breath and relax like Seoraksan National Park in South Korea. Absorb the delightfully scenic views, scout out some of the mountains' hidden waterfalls, or find some peace in the temples along the way. It’s the perfect trip to find yourself and some inner peace.
